The past three years we have been fortunate to partner with Syngenta as a trial farm for their canola Pelta seed technology in cooperation with Väderstad and Canterra Seeds.
Pelta, the new seed pelleting technology, aids in management decisons by removing the guesswork of seeding rates. This allows for even plant rates, maturity, and water distribution. Olds College has been industry leaders in precision agriculture technology. We are a proud partner farm of Olds College! We have been involved in their use of autonomous machinery for four years now and working directly with them for the past two. This partnership allows us to trial new technology and support further innovation in precision agriculture.
